OFLC Announces Reinstatement of Forms and Instructions for the CW-1 Transitional Worker Program.

On April 2, 2020, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) reinstated all forms and instructions associated with the CW-1 Transitional Worker program in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands through October 31, 2021.

Simultaneously, OMB also approved non-substantive changes to the forms and instructions. In addition to the new expiration date, the non-substantive changes include: clarifying language in the form instructions; correction of form field references; and, correction of spacing issues. The forms with the non-substantive changes will be deployed in the Office of Foreign Labor Certification’s (OFLC) Foreign Labor Application Gateway (FLAG) case processing system on June 5, 2020. None of the non-substantive changes will have an impact on pending applications.

Please Note: FLAG users on the continental United States will experience an outage for approximately one hour on June 5, 2020, starting at 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The reinstated forms are available on the OFLC forms page; the public can use the forms and instructions until further notice from OFLC.
