OFLC Announces Updates to the Foreign Labor Application Gateway (FLAG) System to Improve the User Experience.

The Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) released multiple updates to the FLAG system on August 16th providing an improved user experience. These new functions provide users with the ability to receive and respond to notifications quickly through a new messaging center, reassign cases more easily within a network, and reuse data from the Form ETA-9141.

Notification Center:

The Notification Center notifies filers when a milestone is complete or a document is added. Filers will see a table of alerts and each alert will allow a filer to access the associated case to view any newly added case documents or correspondence and directly respond through the system’s case actions. For example, upload a NOD response or view the document added to the case record.

Case Reassignment:

Case reassignment assists filers in a network by allowing them to better manage their applications. Master account holders are able to reassign an application created by one user to a different user within the network.

ETA-9141 Reuse:

The case reuse function allows filers to reuse all sections of the Form ETA-9141 in new applications. Case reuse is limited to the revised form implemented on May 3, 2021.
