OFLC Announces Enhancements to the FLAG System for Case Management

On February 12, 2021, the Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC), in collaboration with the Department's Office of the Chief Information Officer, released the following enhancements and new features in the Foreign Labor Application Gateway (FLAG) System to assist employers or their authorized representatives with preparing and submitting applications:

Users’ case tables will be organized first by form type (e.g., 9141, 9142A, 9142B) then by submission status (e.g., Initiated, Assigned Case Number, Historical)

Users will be able to filter for cases using one or more of the following criteria based on the form type and submission status:

  • Case Number
  • Employer Name
  • Job Title
  • Case Owner
  • Case Status
  • Period of Employment (Start Date, End Date)
  • Submission date

Users will be able to access their case PDF directly from the case tables

Users will see improvements to the time it takes for case number assignment and case status changes to appear
